Children and Youth: L7
February 4, 11, 18, 25: 10am-1pm
Location: Ministry Center
 
L7 is a four week program for children in grades 5-9. “I must be about my Father’s business” the powerful 7 words Jesus spoke at age 12. Come learn leadership skills to prepare you to also “be about your Father’s business.” Join us as we learn about strengthening our faith in God and how to stand firm in that faith. Registrations will be taken after each of the Services on January 22 and 29. Questions, contact Jayme Steighner

Youth: Peek N’ Peak Ski Trip

February 25

Hey guys, are you looking for something to do while we are trapped in the winter months? Well, we have something we think would interest you. If you are in 7th through 12th grade, come and join us as we make our way to the Peek N’ Peak ski resort. There are some great options for you like, skiing, snowboarding, and tubing! For those of you who have never skied, snowboarded, or tubed, before, the resort offers lessons to insure that you will have a great time while being safe! We will head out for Peek N’ Peak on Saturday February 25th at 8:00 am and return at 9:00 pm the same evening. You can find the information and permission forms by downloading them byclicking the link labeled "PeekandPeek12" on the right side of this page.

Youth: Confirmation's Crazy Trip

The Confirmation class will be heading to Cranberry on March 2 to visit the WPAUMC conference center. There will 30 kids taking this trip. They will be learning and discussing some of the Methodist background along with being introduced to some of the ministries the conference is involved with. They also get the opportunity to interact with Bishop Bickerton, and also with other youth from the area!

Join us on Friday, March 30 anytime between the hours of 6-9 as we “Journey to the Cross” and celebrate the life and death of Jesus Christ. Sure the Easter Bunny brings candy, but Jesus brings us SALVATION!! This family centered event will touch all of your senses and help bring the Easter story to life in a unique and powerful way. Bring your family, friends and neighbors on the “Journey” with you!! Questions can be directed to Jayme Steighner.

Back by popular demand, Earth Day Clean Up is here! On Friday April 6, from 9 AM to Noon (no school that day).The youth are going to be “redding up” the Main Street area. Parents and the kids are both invited to join us as we serve the Butler community. There will also be food afterwards so bring your helpful spirit and a healthy appetite.

ATF is back again everyone. If you are in 7th-12th grade, we hope that you are ready to ignite the fire inside of you! The event is Friday evening on May 4th and runs through the evening of May 5th. More information will be given at the beginning of March, but mark those days on your calendars because this event will change your life!
