Electives are a vital part of spitiual development as well as building relationships with others and God!  Electives are different than small group opportunites because an elective is a short term committment where a small group is a long term committement.  We encourage you to get invovled in both types of opportunities!   If you would like more information on any of the below opportunites please contact Dr. Gatty.  ggatty@butlerfumc.com

The Pauline Epistles  will continue with Pastor Dave teaching the class on Wednesdays at 1:00 PM   Although this class has been meeting since September, there is plenty of room for new class members. Please feel free to sign up and join the continuing journey through Paul’s writings.

Study of Revelation  This Bible study will continue, and finish with discussing the Great White Throne judgment, the Books and the Book of Life, The end of time, the new heaven and earth and the blessings of eternity. You are invited to join this class even though you have not attended in the past. After our Revelation study, we will continue with another Bible book study. We discuss the Bible on a verse by verse basis, and many topics are covered. This is an interactive study with lots of good discussion. Taught by Gene Gatty, the class meets Wednesdays at 7:00 PM.

Discipleship Pathwayis a way to grow in your faith, find your spiritual gifts and learn how to spread God’s word within your own life. Taught by staff, this is an opportunity to learn how God wants to use you for His Purpose! This elective will begin March 15 and will run for 6 weeks. It will begin at 6:30 PM and will be held in Wesley Hall.

God is My Success This is a long term class that discusses the way to overcome adversity. God does not promise a life free of adversity, but He does promise to be with you in your adversity. As you partner with God to overcome your obstacles, you will discover that ultimately, God, Himself, is your Success. Dave Tack leads this class meeting on Sundays, 9:45 AM
