Welcome! We are glad you are taking the time to explore our website and learn more about who we are.
Our Vision: A growing community of believers where Jesus Christ changes lives.
Our Mission: To grow people to Christ-like maturity through on-going personal involvement in worship, fellowship, discipleship, ministry, and evangelism.
Worship….is reaching up to God to express love, thanks, and praise for who He is and what He has done. It is both corporate and private. Worship has many types of expression, such as praise, singing, prayer, contemplation, reflection, and devotion. Worship is giving time to God and giving God time to respond back to me.
Fellowship….is reaching out to other believers in love and encouragement with the ongoing purpose of building one another up, supporting one another, and helping one another enjoy life on a level that the ‘world’ is not able to experience. Fellowship is all about relationships in which Christ’s love, presence, and power are experienced.
Discipleship….is reaching in to oneself to become spiritually mature. As we place ourselves under the teaching and educational ministry of the church, we submit to a process of becoming more like Christ in our thoughts, feelings, and actions. The process of Discipleship also includes the discipline of spending daily quiet time with God, allowing God the opportunity to reach which in us and shape us so we may grow into the likeness of Christ. This process begins when we become a Christ followers and continues throughout the rest of our lives.
Ministry….is reaching out to others to demonstrate God’s love and to express our love for God by meeting the needs of others and healing their hurts in the name of Jesus Christ. God expects us to use our unique spiritual gifts, passions, abilities, personalities, experiences, resources, and finances to serve others.
Evangelism….is reaching out to non-believers with the express purpose of sharing the good news of Jesus Christ, who is the way and promise of salvation. Evangelism involves sharing how Christ has changed my life and inviting others to accept Christ. Evangelism will have many different methods and ways to open a person to Christ, but the purpose of Evangelism is to give a person the opportunity to accept Christ.
