An initial exploration meeting to disaffiliate from the United Methodist Church of Western Pennsylvania has been scheduled for Monday, October 10 at 6 pm, Rt. 8 Campus. The meeting will be led by Bishop Cynthia Moore-Koikoi and District Superintendent Eric Park. Bishop Cynthia and Eric will review the disaffiliation process during this event. WPAUMC literature about the process is also available at the welcome center/hub at each campus. At this time, First Church has not made a decision to disaffiliate and will not make a decision in either direction until thorough research has been completed.
