OUR CURRENT SERMON SERIES:  IT’S A NEW DAY:  NEW DAY MISSION

THIS WEEKEND’S SCRIPTURE:  MATTHEW 28:16-20 

Because of these values – because this is the kind of people God is calling First Church to be – our mission, WHY we’re here, seems to be clear: to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of Butler and beyond. A disciple of Jesus Christ is one who is inwardly and outwardly allowing Jesus to shape every dimension of their lives according to his heart and priorities: people who follow Jesus in such a way that through each of us, wherever we happen to be, the way of Jesus will break into our community and the priorities of Jesus will become the priorities of Butler… and eventually beyond Butler.
